How COULD you end the episode where you did?! Don't you know I want every detail of what comes next (and I'm sure all your readers feel the same)? Gidget miserable without you, family about to travel to help both of you... pleeze continue where you left off! (great writing btw--do you write suspense thrillers in your spare time?) 💙
I've written the rest of the story in my memoir, but publishing memoir is difficult business.
The bulk of my writing is poetry and essays, but back in my early days, I used to write horror fiction for magazines. Back when I had to submit things by mail and wait for an envelope with a rejection letter inside.
I am so glad that Gidget was your constant companion. We know you managed because you are writing this now, and we now that your parents got their and took care of Gidget. So grateful you are still with us. I know how much you miss her and I’m so glad that writing these pieces helps you.
I suspended paid subscriptions, so you should be able to read this from October. If you can't, let me know and I will figure out how to change permissions.
She did that a couple of times before that when I was sick with a migraine and couldn't even lift my head from the pillow. I'm glad she had such ingenuity.

You and the Gidge were made for each other! 🐾
WOW when I read this I got chill bumps. Gidget was your soul mate. I know you must really miss her! Hugs from a reader! 🥰
She was my special girl.
That sweet baby has been your angel, Dawn. I have tears in my eyes at the obvious love & devotion you have for each other!💕
She loved me as much as she hated the rabbit that lived under the deck.
Thank you for sharing. How fortunate you and Gidget are to have found each other. ♻️💚
We had the best years together.

She and I needed each other. We were two misfits looking for each other.
And then what happened!

Wow! Midget was such a smart girl, to improvise so cleverly her potty station 🐾

What an amazing, "heart warming" piece. Thank you.
I'm glad you enjoyed it!
