Outliving My Heart

I’m honored to have a new essay published in The Bucket Magazine. This magazine is unique, with a tagline “live fully. die well.”

My essay addresses my journey of growing up with a congenital heart defect and the ever-present cloud of death looming over me. I discuss my evolving relationship with my health and mortality and how I’ve become comfortable with the reality of a shorter lifespan than most.
