On this last day of April, I’m closing out the month the same way I welcomed it. Consider this one more reminder that that April is Donate Life Month. As a two-time heart transplant recipient, I find it my duty to ask people to consider registering to be an organ donor.

When you receive this in your inbox, I will be getting on an airplane to fly back home after spending some time with my father, helping with caregiving while he is in home hospice. This has kept me too busy to write many new posts, so I’m recycling a post from last year in which I expressed my gratitude for this gift of life. Many of you didn’t know me back then, so this will be a new post for your eyes.
