Hello all you lovely people! I hope you are having the best middle March Sunday, our last weekend before the Spring Equinox, and the day before St. Patrick’s Day.
I’m still in Tennessee with my family as we ease my father into hospice care. Big scary storms rolled through all day yesterday, including the obligatory tornado watch, and we have more rain coming later today. The river along the little road leading to my father’s house is very close to creeping over the road, and if it floods, we will be trapped in the valley for a few days. Such is mountain living.
If you’re from the Smokey Mountains, you’re most likely familiar with the term, “If the Lord is willing and the creek don’t rise.” Well, the creek’s rising.

The waterfall running down the side of the mountain is beautiful.
Since nearly every waking moment has been occupied by caring for my father, I haven’t had time to write a new post. But the wonderful MJ Coppola just published an interview we did a couple weeks ago. Although I blushed a little as I read it, I definitely needed the pick-me-up today.
Please enjoy this interview with The Creatives Mirror and click the subscribe button while you’re over there.
Thanks for reading! Hang in there. It’s almost spring.
Continuing to think of you and your dad.
You are a lovely human being Please let me know when you are back in Michigan -- would like to come see you and write something!
