And how great that the chicken wire lasted so well! I loved in Nashville for almost 30 years, my son had surgery @ Vandy.
Yes, I was involved in animal rescue for about seven years, but I had to give that up when I moved away. Nashville is a beautiful city. I would love to move there, but the price of housing is out of reach. I should have bought a little house instead of renting an apartment. I think the price would have appreciated quite a bit since then. I hope your son is doing well. Vandy does amazing work.
I used to go to Nashville for reasons I won’t explain here but I remember walking past Vanderbilt a lot of times and I’m sure glad you got your heart 💜 there❣️What a beautiful story and I can’t wait for More! Blessed be little Gidget in heaven and blessings to you‼️😇🙏❤️😻
That’s a lovely area. They call it Hillsboro Village. If you get off the main drag, there are many little businesses, including a post office and dry cleaners. It was like a small town inside of a big city.
This was from 2018. I moved down there to receive a heart transplant at Vanderbilt Medical Center. I have been to the Bluebird, in Green Hills if I remember correctly. Great place!

It was a full-circle moment. I went from rescuer to being rescued. And my rescue dog got to rescue me.
