We are thankful to have Dawn's story, which she can only tell because of the medicines that are now available for people with her condition(s). She is alive because of those medicines and because someone's heart was donated to her. I do hope others will consider becoming organ donors.

Thank you, Lynette. My hope is to persuade a few readers to register as organ donors and to get their hearts checked on a regular basis. It's easier to prevent a disease than it is to cure it.
