The trick was a packet of Taco Bell Fire Sauce, visible in the picture. It was grabbed up by a group of teenagers. I giggle to myself when I picture the look on their faces when they inspected their haul at the end of the night.
I honestly don’t feel prepared for how I’ll feel next week, or the weeks and months after, but I’m not sure what to do about it either. But I will be enjoying a long weekend getaway to Northern California with my Hubs, so that will help.
Thank you for this. I'm trying very hard to avoid the news, but failing miserably. I don't really care who wins, I just want all of the hatred and division to stop.
I’m trying to avoid the news too. I do have a strong desire for one candidate to win, but there are a lot of local races that suck up a lot of oxygen too.
This post was so entertaining and profound! I loved it! Thank you for giving us your perspective!
Was the treat a stick of cinnamon? I cannot believe you did not share!

Love your ring, by the way!
Right now, it feels a bit like holding your breath underwater and being unable to surface. One day at a time.
